Summer 2012 Harvest proving to be a real challenge!

We have jumped upon the few dry days we have had in the past week and managed to combine our rather lousy winter Oats, the photo showing last few (with the emphasis on few!) bales of straw being hauled in.  Our very old but trusty fergy combine has done the business again!  We also charged on and mowed, baled and wrapped our whole crop silage, very pleased with it. 

 Was also getting  rather crucial as had to be cut to make room to move one of the chicken houses.  All good fun.

Loads of jobs still lining up to do plus off for a few days in our old camper van to North Devon with the children, only fair.
