Our little ‘Farm Gate’ shop has organically grown somewhat over the last few months. We have sold our lovely organic eggs direct and fresh from the hens to friends and neighbours for many years, and the word has gradually spread and now we are lucky enough to a wide range of lovely loyal group of customers. Hopefully they are fans of our great tasting, super fresh organic eggs, or could be that we put our extra large and double yolkers in the shop, or could be that the shop is open 24-7, or the great price for organic eggs, or the periodic free veg, or just that it is on their way home perhaps.  Either way we are very grateful and are trying to improve and expand the little shop.

So we made the shop a little bigger (to make room for a new grading machine) and added our own organic apple juice.  More recently we have added some really nice potatoes grown locally by a young farming couple. Really tasty and good value.

And for 2022 we have added Riverford Dairy’s amazing organic milk.  The attraction to us was not only having really nice organic milk, but that we can sell it in a virtually zero single use packaging method, the good old milk bottle! Customers buy a bottle and simply keep it, clean it and bring it back and fill it up again.

We have now added milk shake syrups which are really good! and make a tasty fun treat.  It is going to take us a while to get the hang of keeping the milk stocked up, but bear with us, we will try our best.

We put up little posters about the products, nut welcome any feed back and questions.
